outing...

Last saturday, we had a some sort of a christmas party held outside of our office. It was a beach party!!!!!.... Actually it was a suggestion to held it outside of the office and the same time outside of the city. It was in Samal Island, we just bring our own baon or provision and bring  along a gift, worth not less than fifty pesos for the sake of exchanging gifts. Coz, its christmas time....

I woke up at 4am in the morning to prepare the foods that im going to bring along with me. So at 630am, we assembled at our office. Exactly 8am, we were in the said resort, paying the entrance fee and looking for a nice cottage that have the nice view of the gulf... Nice resort, we payed 120 pesos for the boat ride and the entrance to the said place.... We also payed 300 pesos for the foods that we bring with us or what we called corkage.. but we already have an access to the swimming pool, both for adults and the kids.... the cottage if free, part of the entrance fee.

Super nice resort, a little bit expensive for me.. Fruit shake is 100 pesos, sodas and mineral water is 25 pesos per bottle for the 200ml.... But the final verdict is.... its nice to unwind in some place that is new and it really refreshen me physically and mentally...

I was able to get closer with some of my officemates, and was able to discover their attitude, and how friendly they really are. Its just only me that is giving myself a hard time knowing them or not really being friendly to them... hehehehehe....

We went home at 5pm in the afternoon, exhausted but I just feel great! What a day to unwind...

low air fare...

The whole world is experiencing a global crisis, some countries are in recession right now. Even I, myself don't know whats the impact of it to our small country.
Yesterday, an office mate of mine and I, went to buy some airline tickets for Boracay. There this airline who offered very low price of airline fares. Even out of budget, we grabbed this opportunity to be able to travel and visit this famous beach. The fare is very affordable for simple people like us. We are about twenty in the group who will visit that nice place.
Despite what we are experiencing about the crisis now, we are quite excited for our trip. We are going there in the middle part of February next year. I am busy surfing the net lately, looking for a nice and less expensive accommodations. Getting to know the place and looking for adventures!!!
Aside from the island sightseeing and island hopping that we are going to do once we get there. I will try to do the REEF WALKING, according to a friend of mine, it costs around php1,500.00 for a fifteen minutes walk under the sea. What the heck!.. Forget about the expenses, its an opportunity that comes only once. I may never be able to visit this place again, because I will be exploring other parts of my country that is equally beautiful and less spoiled beaches.. I'll bring with me an underwater camera to capture that special moment... really walking down there!!!
It's really perked my day just thinking of it right now.

Fiesta!!

We went to a fiesta today.. (Its the feast of Christ the King) here in Dacoville. Its where our traits as filipino is really the best in us that shows how hospitable we are. It's the time where family members and relatives gather together aside from christmas or new year to renew our relationship with one another. It's not only the food that entice us to gather but the though of seeing some long lost relatives and friends...
Ok! I'll admit it, it's the food that gathered us there.hehehehe... The food is great, lechon is just crispy and delicious! With steamed fish, chicken lollipop, chopsuey, spaghetti, steamed shrimp and the best of them is the Bulalo and kadios. (delicacy of being an ilongga).
I had a great time with my nieces and nephews... They are all teenagers now, Gela is asking me that she will be one of my bridesmaid. I told her na sure... as long she will have a part of the program during the reception. All my bridesmaids and my maid of honor (they are all my nieces) are going to have a dance number during the said event! Walang hiya-hiya dapat...
I'm quite excited for the out come of my wedding, because the kids are all happy to be a part of it...  hehehehe.... I just hope and pray that everything will be just fine and according to plan. I just kept my fingers crossed....

Fear Factor

Just able to viewed the local version of the FEAR FACTOR... tonight the tasked was to eat the eyes and brains of the sheep. Yes, it is grossed!!!! But the bottom line is the winning pot money, which is three million pesos... It's just show how the economy really affects the stamina of ourselves. I just think, I can do it too. While eating the THING.. I will just imagine that I'm devouring a very nice and juicy hamburger. Whew..... I just hope that I can make it to earn the pot money.
I was able to talked to my friend who will do my wedding cake. I told her to use her imagination to have a simple but elegant cake. I know that the taste will be good, and I want to have an impressive presentation of the said dessert. She will be using some fresh fruits, that will jive with my motif which will be fuchsia pink and olive green. So instead of eating the cake, it will be fruits that we are going to share with each other. So far, that's the plan for the big event...

novelty store

I went to a nice store yesterday in search for a nice gift for my future principal sponsors for my forth coming wedding... hehehehehe... The name of the said establishment is "Crafter's Haven", they will cater whatever you have in mind for whatever occasions you want to have. Tes! have you visited that store? I know that almost all part of our city ay napasyalan mo na..
They will do what I have in mind for the little token for my ninang and ninong. I will just have 2 sets of sponsors for the event. Since Ronald and I likes to drink... we are giving "shot glass" as our party favors for our guests. So, for the sponsors, it will be a bottle of wine with our picture on it. Together with the bottle are two champagne glass and be place in a nice box with all the trimmings the store will provide.
Haaaaayyyy.... I'm having a headache just typing and describing what I like to have. I really appreciated that place. I feel so comfortable justing looking and admiring the nice bling-bling of the said store.
